Trump just tweeted to claim "intel" told him bounty story not credible so they didn't brief him

Bullshit.

And note he doesn't give any names for the "intel" person or persons who supposedly told him this.

Intel just reported to me that they did not find this info credible, and therefore did not report it to me or @VP. Possibly another fabricated Russia Hoax, maybe by the Fake News @nytimesbooks, wanting to make Republicans look bad!!!

Dear @realDonaldTrump: Your story conflicts with the story the DNI Director at the time @RichardGrenell
told. He said he “never heard” of the Russian bounty info, not that he found it not credible enough to tell you.

Also, UK confirmed the bounty info.

Note that Trump's not saying here he differs from or doesn't believe the intelligence community, as at Helsinki. He's claiming the intelligence community told him a certain report was judged not credible. Is that true? Will Haspel, Esper and Milley confirm they told Trump that?

"Well they probably didn't brief him because" - NO! He WAS briefed! He just didn't care.

"It wasn't really funny saying if you don't get tested, there won't be Covid" - He was NOT joking! He really means it!

"Odd, because the guy yelling 'white power' was pretty clear to me" - He DID hear it! That's what he liked about it!
