Zuckerberg once wanted to sanction Trump. Then Facebook wrote rules that accommodated him.

Roger McNamee (@Moonalice) Tweeted:

Can we talk about FB policy chief Joel Kaplan? Time after time, he steers FB policies to favor one political party and politician over democracy.

The more you know, the worse it looks: Facebook and Trump. https://t.co/QTNHwyteGu

As I understand it Mr. Zuckerberg is in a relatively unique position as a CEO of a company the size of Facebook. Due to the way his holdings in the company are structured he is almost impossible to remove from the company. Even by the Board of Directors.

The Post makes an important observation re: others influence on him, but by not stressing the above, some readers might believe that the Board is driving those policies against Zuckergerg's wishes. He alone is responsible for nearly everything at FB. Like T, Zuckerberg wants all the credit for whatever good the company can be accused of, but none of the credit for anything on the other side of the ledger.

Trump has a few bad advisors (!), but it is he I hold responsible. Zuckerberg is no different and arguably has more influence at this point.
