I am watching Early Start on CNN and there is a debate between Maragrat Hoover and Richard Socerise. Hoover and Socerise were debating Mitt Romney's 47% and i'd have a better chance at winning the Presidency if my parents had been Mexican.
I am sorry to say it, but Margaret Hoover walked all over him. It was not that Hoover had better point; Socerise just did not put up a fight. The two reporters hosting the show (especially the female) did a better job debating Hoover.
Socerise barely said anything throughout the debate. Even worse he did not respond to Hoover when she made the statement 38% of taxes/income taxes are paid by the one percent. Socerise did not say anything when Hoover claimed the 47% comment said nothing about Mitt Romney's character and there where multiple examples of Romney caring about people. When Hoover tried to claim that the comment was not Romney disregarding 47% of the country it was the female reporter who went back and read a portion of what Romney said.
When the debate moved on to the Mexican comment Hoover defended Romney by saying that Romney had been born to Mexican parents and spoke a little Spanish it might be easier for him to get Mexican votes. Yes, she really said that. Socerise's response was, I don't see what's funny about that. The female reporter hosting the show stated that she thought it would be harder for Romney if he had been born to Mexican parents.

Stronger liberal debaters will not be invited on those shows.
