Michelle Obama for VP?

I think it could happen. She’s given two high profile speeches recently and has been vocal in about voting rights and BLM.

When I think about this choice, it makes a lot of sense. She’s not an obvious choice, but I think she would be a strong choice.

She's not a politician, she'd be very polarizing, she doesn't want to do it anyway--where does this come from? I think she's a true American treasure, but not someone I think should be a heartbeat away from being president.

Me.

I would not be opposed at all. I think she would seal the deal. But she's not interested, so that's that.

She has made it abundantly clear on several occasions that she is not in the least interested in running for office, ever. The fact that she's given a few "high profile" speeches lately is no indication that she's changed her mind; it's an indication that, like many other well-known people, she's interested in using her celebrity to support certain causes. I wish people would respect her decision and take her at her word.

Or is it just that when women say "no," they are assumed not to actually mean it.

yes, I think you're right, but tell me why Mittens decided to go to Washington, D. C. as a Senator. I think he's planning on Trump's collapse, and wants the nomination in 2024.

Not that he's going to get it, mind you, but I think he's going to give it a shot. He'll have to fight off both Pence and Cruz, among others, but he probably thinks that he can emerge even with the 30-35% that he can get in early primaries.

why would the guy who voted to remove trump from the presidency get the nomination of the party that is still very much supportive of trump ?

Romney is only popular among mormons. he is hated by the base of the Republican party.

between Biden and Romney , Biden is the more likable one that would beat Romney even in a more normal year just like Romney was beaten in 2012 .

the fundies hate Mittens with the heat of ten thousand suns. Their lack of support for him was probably one of the reasons he lost in 2012.

I've seen it quite often, they say she will be on the ticket, Biden wins then resigns soon after taking the oath.

It's bullshit. Obama himself stated she would probably leave him if it was possible to run for a third term. She didn't walk away from the White House, she ran from it.

She wanted out. Read somewhere after Trump won, Obama slunk in his chair "I'm am so done with this". Michelle was probably done with it a lot sooner.

But she has said many times she won't and don't you think she didn't like seeing what that did to her husband? Yeah. I know he was the president not the VP but the stress is the same or pretty damn close. Also don't you think she just might want to have a normal so called 9-5 life with her husband after all of those strenuous years of him being president?
