There was a post about police randomly arresting people in the NY Occupy and I haven't heard if those who were arrested are still in jail or if anyone even knows where they are.

Any news?

I caught Tim Pool's livestream for a while last night, and some of the people who'd been arrested that morning were showing up and saying they were only held for a few hours. Pool commented that this seemed to be the general pattern.

The phrase usually means results, not plans and alliances. To paraphrase the old Wendy's commercial: "Where's the fruit?"

The Debt Resistor's manual is a much need tool for those who got sucked into debt.

The very handy Occupy-Wall-Street-Strike-Debt-The-Debt-Resistors-Operations-Manual

The "Occupied Wall Street Journal" magazine
is a good resource for what his happening in the resistance.

Some foreclosures have been stopped because of Occupy action.

Police brutality has been identified and in several cases, the brutal cops have been removed.
And don't forget that Occupy helped identify that Bloomberg has what he considers his own "private ploce force".

Lastly, Occupy groups across the country have given impetus and hope to thousands of people who know "something is terribly wrong with our country" ( and world)

I clearly remember at the onset of the protest decade, in the early 1060's, the initial protest people and groups got as many jibes and insults as Occupy today is getting.
Movements are kinda hard to recognize at the beginning, except for the experienced and/or far seeing people.

The brutality of the attacks on Occupy camps have awakened a lot of people, and served to publicize the growing police state.

From last Monday, here in my town.

San Diego Women Occupy Lead Prop 37 Rally and Bannering on 163 Overpass

Hillcrest Banners Favor Prop 37 On Robinson Street Overpass

By Nadin Abbott and Frank Gormlie

It was close to 4pm on the first anniversary of Occupy Wall Street – Monday, September 17th – and the mood at the Canvas for a Cause headquarters in Hillcrest was expectant. As people started to arrive for the programed rally in favor of Proposition 37, Nadine Abbott had a chance to talk to Doctor Norrie Robbins of Women Occupy San Diego and a member of the singers Occapellas. Robbins is also Adjunct Professor at the SDSU Dept of Geological Sciences, and is retired from the United States Geological Service, DC office.

Robbins said: “I am worried about my food. I’m beginning to get weird allergies that do not run in my family.”

But hey, it is dead... period, end of discussion... for a dead corpse is way too active... but hey... I think if we put an EKG on this corpse we will even get a rhythm.
