Are Republicans secretly in favor of stealing elections?

When you believe that 47-48-49% of the public is hopelessly dependent on government and will never vote Republican - and let's not kid ourselves, most Republicans actually believe this - then they are admitting they are a hair's breadth from losing power forever. And given that they view the Democratic party ideals as "un-American", how can it not lead them to "rescuing" the country from itself, even to the point of falsifying election results?

I don't mean to alarm people, but let's not be naive. A group of people like this, worried about losing power forever are not going to go down without a fight, including some desperate - and even criminal - measures.

It's no secret. Just ask Mike Turzai, our state's House Majority Leader (and our state's leading d***** bag) ... Pennsylvania's recent voter identification law would "allow Governor [Mitt] Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania"

last thing the Bush and the neo-con boys want is for Mitt and more important Ryan in power.
Jeb would never get in

Mitt/Ryan will lose and Jeb will hoodwink the republicans into nominating a "winner" and get that nomination as a "regular old fashioned republican" offsetting the tainted Bush name.

Hillary will have to be extra vigiliant against theft

I just saw one on Facebook say that none of the 47% who don't pay federal income tax should be able to vote. I said a) they're largely in Red states and it would be interesting to see how that would affect those electoral votes; b) might not Romney be among that 47%?; and c) voting is a right, not a priviledge given to a select few he finds worthy enough. How would he feel if only 53% of people were allowed to buy guns?

--"the ends justify the means" y'know.

Especially since the history of prosecution for election crimes is minimal, Wingers around the country consider it their patriotic duty to try to manipulate the election. God forbid that Democracy prevails.

Stay tuned. We will see it.

And forcing folks to cast "provisional ballots" that won't be counted in time (if at all).

These are things they do *publicly* to shift the outcomes.

do not have values that are consistent with Democratic principles. My best example:
Dems want to win by counting votes, Repigs want to win by any means then force their ideology on the rest. And no, there is nothing secret about it.
