So I would say there is probably some overshoot in reaction - but it is likely pretty representative of reality.

Things CAN change within a short span of time given the snowballing events.

I thought they meant a 19% drop, not 19% approval. Finally, this number is approaching the level where approval of Trump should be.

The Progressive Conservatives had a majority in Parliament. In the 1993 election, they went from that majority to just 2 seats. It took about 14 years for them to get back in power.

Long story short...an electoral tsunami is coming in November. We are going to see a LOT of Trumplicans bite the dust. This country is ready to make a significant shift leftward.

Why on God’s green earth are 7% of Dems/lean Dem approving?

They vote for local conservatives who may run as blue dog Dems (27 out of 235 in our current house caucus), but in statewide and national elections they vote Republican.

We risk kidding ourselves if we think that their dissatisfaction derives from anything of which we would approve, like being involved with humanity for instance.
