It's a weird illness that will be known one day as Todd's Disease. He literally cannot process a negative thought about a Republican without immediately searching his memory for some putative parallel case involving a Democrat. The illness is pervasive, progressive, and debilitating, but flares up, as it were, during Septembers and Octobers of election years, which usually results in Todd having to find TWO negative democratic "parallel cases" for each Republican negative. These are the aggravated stages of Todd's Disease.
