Kayleigh, "Trump does read and consumes intelligence verbally"

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/06/trump-is-the-most-informed-person-on-planet-earth-kayleigh-mcenany-claims-the-president-does-read/

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany made bold claims about President Donald Trump’s grasp of information during Tuesday’s daily briefing.

McEnany was asked about the widespread reporting that Trump did not read his President’s Daily Briefing that reportedly included warnings about the alleged Russian plot to offer bounties for the killing of U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

“The President does read,” McEnany claimed. “And he also consumes intelligence verbally.”

“This President, I’ll tell you, is the most informed person on the planet earth when it comes to the threats that we face,” she claimed.

Better sentence.

He can read perfectly well when he wants to. He has never gotten an oral briefing. Look, Congress got an oral briefing, except for the Democrats. We really intended to brief him when he stopped tweeting but then he was on the phone with Putin and then he went to the golf course. Hey, we've briefed him now so shut up"

Well, now that we know about exoplanets, maybe she was talking about some other planet earth.

And what the HELL does “The President does read,” McEnany claimed. “And he also consumes intelligence verbally.” mean? My niece's kids were reading at three years of age. And they understood far more than the PoS.

Trump says no one told him about reported Russian bounties on US troops
By LYNN BERRY AND ZEKE MILLER | ASSOCIATED PRESS, June 28, 2020
<snip>
Trump, in a Sunday morning tweet, said “Nobody briefed or told me” or Vice President Mike Pence or chief of staff Mark Meadows about “the so-called attacks on our troops in Afghanistan by Russians.”

“Everybody is denying it & there have not been many attacks on us,” he said.

The White House had issued a statement Saturday denying that Trump or Pence had been briefed on such intelligence. “This does not speak to the merit of the alleged intelligence but to the inaccuracy of the New York Times story erroneously suggesting that President Trump was briefed on this matter,” press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said.
