Everybody lucky enough to have a job pays Payroll Taxes. Payroll Taxes are taken out of you paycheck up front.

Payroll taxes are not income tax withholding. The part of your paycheck that is withheld for Income Tax is money that you get back if you do not owe any income tax at the end of the year.
