but every time she says Barack, it sounds weird coming out of her mouth. I am quite sure that isn't what she calls him unless she's mad but she tells stories of their life using his full name. It's correct by protocol, but it feels weird.

Now, on the topic of the wonderful Bo, she outed herself as a true dog lover. We true dog lovers see our companions as one of our kids. As does she. Nice.

I call my husband by his first name. What do you think she calls him at home?

That's what his friends call him in private and I would assume that his wife is one of his best friends. But protocol requires that when she relates a story of talking to him, she calls him Barack. It's perfectly appropriate. It just feels weird to me because I know they are closer than that.

They make me smile!

because she looks almost exactly like a boss I had some years back, it kind of freaked me out.

She is so *not* like that boss it isn't funny -- their personalities and character couldn't be more opposite. Bo is a perfect example of their differences. (The boss was as much an animal hater as exists.)
