Romney is for the rich and for making the rich richer. All Republicans are, at least he's honest about it.
He is "not concerned about the very poor". What Republican is? At least he's honest about it.
He thinks that anyone receiving government support are lowly "moochers" (aside from corporations, naturally). Again, honesty.
Mitt Romney is a proud Republican. So proud that he is not going to play some Populist character like other Republicans just to get elected. He believes in Republican fiscal policy and he's going to stand up for it, damn it!
No distractions about abortion, gay marriage, guns, or whatever. Mitt Romney is reminding us that the basis of the Republican platform is reducing taxes and slashing public programs for the benefit of the rich. What could possibly be wrong with that?
I, for one, applaud Mitt Romney for running as a proud Republican. I hope that all Americans take this opportunity to understand what the Republican party really stands for.

(7,814 posts)in the debate about the New Deal/tax burdens/govt help/income inequality, the GOP chooses as its standardbearer someone who EPITOMIZES WHAT'S WRONG with the system that concentrates wealth and power into his own hands.
His sociopathy leaks out for everyone to see and he doubles down on it nearly every time.
You'd think they would have planned for some working class guy to rise up through the ranks to champion the causes of the 1%. Someone with some degree of immunity from the criticisms so easily pointed at Mitt. Maybe that guy was supposed to be Ryan, but he's stubbing his toe now.
Mitt....makes it easy for voters, I would think.

(3,526 posts)I wonder about the Proles who vote for people like
Mitt Romney.
I think they are like the parishioners of a middle class
church and are proud of the fact that their pastor
wears Armani suits and Rolex watches, drives a Lexus
and lives in a mansion that they, the church members,
paid for.
