If things don't change, "next year we may be celebrating 'Dependence Day'"--E. Hasselbeck today

on The View during a discussion of Romney Unplugged.

What alternate universe does this woman live in? Barbara Walters reined her in and told her to stop. At which point she launched into talking over everyone to try to get whatever talking point she could work in out to the masses. She was working the angle that accepting help when you are down makes you dependent. I got a whiff of Hannity as that wafted by. Whoopie pointed out that she had been on welfare once, and when Hasselbeck asked her she had felt dependent, Whoopie told her that she did not and felt that accepting help allowed to not have to worry about basics so she could focus on other things.

A very significant majority of them think this way. Everyone else is a moocher. They built it themselves and it would be bigger if it weren't for government and moochers and lazy workers.

She usually starts screeching over everyone else to get her talking points in. Joy and Whoopie manage to shut her down sometimes.

The day I see Hasselbeck move to a survival colony and rough it out on her own is the day see can pretend to be independent of the rest of * society. Until then typical self centered delusion from a conservative that pretends they actually don't depend o society too.

Translating her 15 minutes of fame from sitting around in the mud in a bikini and marrying a pro quarterback into being a complete moron on daytime TV.

becomes crystal clear. Some RW hack was just on MSNBC saying, "we don't want the 47% to be tax takers, we want them to be tax givers". Rather than asking what the hell Rmoney is talking about, the RW is just continuing with the idea that Rmoney was right.

Lucky you born white and beautiful. Why don't you try some compassion, it might keep you from eating yourself alive with your disdain.

...so when the repugs say 47% and welfare in the same sentence, they are just delusional. Far more people were on welfare under Reagan than under Obama.

And I am "the working poor" myself, supporting a family of four. Though the progressive federal tax gives me a break while the kids are depending on me, I pay state tax, payroll tax, property tax, gas tax, etc. The effective total tax rate on my income is higher than Romney's, and I don't mind. I'm glad to be able to pay, as a whole host of services are supported by these taxes.

So the federal tax is progressive to the point that I get a very good break while raising kids (and largely because of the Reagan and Bush tax cuts!) - and Romney thinks that makes me some kind of worthless helpless government dependent. And apparently Hasselback and a bunch of republicans think so too - well, my command of curse words is insufficient to express how I feel about them...

one of these people would lose everything so they can get a quick lesson in what it feels like to have nothing and no prospects and have to worry about where the next meal was coming from or if you would have shelter at night.

never make the connection that low-paying jobs - jobs done by people who work hard, stand on their feet all day, in heat or cold, breaking down their bodies day by day - are the REASON people must rely on assistance.

Employers don't want to pay living wages. They want wage SLAVES. But Hasselbeck will never attack those crap job creators. NEVER.

I'd like to offer a bet to Hasselbeck. She and I will each spend the day digging a ditch. I'll guarantee that snotty nosed, lazy-assed DUMBFUCK will quit after she gets the first bit of dirt under a nail.

She's a wannabe, like most of the bigmouths who demand "hard work" from others.

Try to think back Elizabeth, remember all those people on
your side vowing to make Obama a one term President?

It must really hurt to be this stupid.
