....you fucking waste of a zygote.
Yes, that's a map of non-payer states. So basically, those of us who pay taxes - unlike you, you fucking walking wad of phlegm - are supporting your fucking racist inbred tea gargling base.
Did I mention to go fuck yourself, your Horsey WifeTM; Slurry, Spliff, Q*bert, the Batman logo and Qxzpl (i.e. the Sons of CowardiceTM); Alpaca/Alfalfa the Dancing PonyTM; and Skittles the Fucking DogTM?

(5,912 posts)but it relys purely on those "non-payers" taking offense to what Romney said. Most of the people in these states agree with him (with the exception of New Mexico and possibly Florida). Most of them don't think Romney is talking about them because they are white. They think he is talking about welfare queens and illegals. The bottom line is, the voters in those states will vote for the white guy who is sort of Christian than the black guy with a funny name whom they're certain isn't a real American.

(11,366 posts)I live in the South and am a voter. I'm not voting for the "white guy," I'm voting for "the black and white guy" (if we're reducing it down to sheer race).
I think what you mean to say is that the PLURALITY of voters in "those states" will vote for the white guy...
Please stop broad-brushing the South.

(54,770 posts). . . . . .Especially when you get out in the rural areas. A lot of folks in the bigger city have just become careful in how they publicly phrase their bigotry. I live around lots of people who are just as bigoted as the toothless fools above, they just aren't as direct.
But, I also agree with you that it "ain't" everyone.

(5,912 posts)Any more than the OP did. I said "most of" - not "all of" and yes I was speaking in terms of plurality and the electoral votes that most of these states deliver time and time again to the Republicans. Sorry if I offended you.

I would like to say that most southerners are smart enough to figure those comments out and apply them to themselves...but maybe not so much.

(4,558 posts)Others have already said this, but Romney's comments won't convert to Obama votes. Not in any strong numbers.
My father has voted Democrat his whole life, but voted against Obama because he is Black, and will do so again this time. He doesn't even think Obama is a bad president, but he won't vote for a Black candidate.
As horrible as that is, I can honestly say that my father has uttered very few racist statements in my memory. He's not a hateful person, but he's old-school Southern, and thinks presidents should be white.

(9,854 posts)So, I am guessing latent racism. No one would admit that, but when you can prove over and over that Romney is a shite candidate with shite plans for the country and people say, "Whatever. I am still not voting for Obama."...it's something and acknowledging that Romney doesn't think any better of them than they think of black people isn't going to change it.
