The Moment Romney Lost The Election: "If my father had been born of Mexican parents..."

"...I'd have a better shot at winning this."

And then: "I mean, I say that jokingly, but it would be helpful to be a Latino."

These were statements he made in the recently disclosed secret fund raiser videos (see: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/17/mitt-romney-helpful-to-be-latino_n_1891359.html?utm_hp_ref=politics )

Romney has no idea what it means to be an immigrant or the son of an immigrant. He has no idea of the struggle that non-whites face on a day-to-day basis in this country. This statement, in my opinion, is where he truly lost the election. It is his "macaca" moment. Not only does he hold contempt and disdain for nearly half of the people in the country, but he assumes that if his birth were of a different origin than it is, he'd have an easier time getting elected. I wonder if he's asked many tea-bagging birthers he's consulted on that thought?

factory is also tremendously damaging. I would like to think that most people would come away determined to change or at least expose such horrendous conditions. Instead, Romney gushes over the "work ethic" of the (mostly young women) laborers, and buys this bull crap story about how the barbed wire and guard towers are there to keep people OUT.

Truly an astonishing glimpse into the mind-set of Romney and the people who are (financially) backing him.
