believe is the best in the world. ... problem is, the more the wealth is skewed the more it becomes nearly impossible to restore balance to the system.

There will be rich and poor.

Any country that suffers poverty should be an indictment to anyone with ethics or morals.

We've long had poverty existing even in the very shadow of the ornate marble edifices of our national government. Economic recession just makes it worse, and more widespread.

When I lived in the D.C. area, Bruce Springstein's 'Born in the USA' was popular. On my own mix tape, I'd juxtapose it with Neil Diamond's 'America.' A seeming contradiction, yet co-existing in reality.

Reflecting now, I can't help thinking of Robert Frost:

And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
