(42,759 posts)3. My daughter is a nurse at a large Polk County hospital.
They have been at capacity for some time now. No elective surgery. One of their staff physicians died from CV a few days ago after being in ICU for ten days. It is definitely worse than the PTB want to let on. I worry about her working there but she must do what she must do.

More specifically ICU? I suppose its not too hard to roll beds out into the halls or something once they get out of ICU, but those beds are limited.
