Trump Pushed CIA to Give Intelligence to Kremlin
July 8, 2020 at 9:43 am EDT By Taegan Goddard
First, President Trump decided not to confront Putin about supplying arms to the terrorist group. Second, during the very times in which U.S. military officials publicly raised concerns about the programs threat to US forces, Trump undercut them. He embraced Putin, overtly and repeatedly, including at the historic summit in Helsinki.
Third, behind the scenes, Trump directed the CIA to share intelligence information on counterterrorism with the Kremlin despite no discernible reward, former intelligence officials who served in the Trump administration told Just Security.

I've watched the plot unfold since January 2017, but how I would love to see a 20 minute finale, with appropriate chase scenes, explosions, and villains with terrified looks as they realize they cannot escape just retribution for their heinous crimes.
(Just dreaming, of course. But such a sweet dream.

But if we could team them both up together to fight the greedy corporate fascists who are dividing the country and robbing it of its wealth, yeah, I'd definitely watch that show!

(14,909 posts)Back when Quinn and Jared wanted to set up a secure comlink with Moscow, FBI guy Frank Figliuzzi said Muellers team would look at things first from a national security perspective. It is likely the NSA, DIA, etc. have set up all manner of traps to see where the varied crooks and sundry traitors have stepped and touched and tainted over the course of the Administration.
As for a patriotic solution: While I think the John Wick franchise / Liam Neeson Cold Pursuit approach is way better than what they deserve, perhaps we can watch them rot on live tv as they serve a lifetime of solitary confinement. Public access to 24/7/366 webcam cell monitoring each traitor would serve as a long term deterrent to anyone considering betrayal in the future.
We wont hire AG Barrs video team. If theres justice, theyll also be tomorrows reality stars.

This needs to be used to hammer the entire Republican Party. They're the ones who put him in, they're the ones who backed him at every turn, they took Russian money via the NRA and dark money sources. They're not just complicit, they're accomplices.

(2,692 posts)If treason could be defined extra-constitutionally as the willful act of betraying ones country for profit and/or prestige, they are all, the entirety of the current crop of national and state GOP leaders, guilty -- save for a middling few who are merely passive collaborators.
