He said last week that someone in government needed to somehow figure out how to pull the leadership of the pandemic out if Trump's hands to create and autonomous organization to lead the country out of this. Like somehow remove CDC and make them in charge 100%.

Hotez seriously thinks we have to do something super urgent at this point and that it's a runaway out of control.

Yes, we're still in FL, but husband's getting antsy, fishing's slow, and FL's rate of infection is soaring, so will probably return to N GA before long. Hospitals in both areas still have open beds right now but won't have room in the halls long before this is over.
