Sununu blasts Jimmy Carter’s grandson for Romney’s ’47 percent’ trouble

Former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu ... channeling the assorted villains on the late 1960s cartoon Scooby Doo who said that they “would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn’t for you meddling kids.”

“Gov. Sununu, if Mitt Romney had said that in that fundraiser in Boca Raton we would not be having this conversation today and he would not be facing what many would say is a meltdown,” the MSNBC host noted.

“No!” Sununu shot back. “If Jimmy Carter’s grandson hadn’t snuck this stuff out, you wouldn’t be having this conversation today. You ought to be talking about class warfare and this president nurtures it all the time!”

They have always thought they can say and do whatever they want until they get caught.
And then they deny it all and point their fingers at anyone but themselves.
Rethuglicans and accountability are total opposites.

SUNUNU RESIGNS UNDER FIRE AS CHIEF AIDE TO PRESIDENT; CITES FEAR OF HURTING BUSH

By ANDREW ROSENTHAL
Published: December 04, 1991

***
Mr. Sununu's political problems began shortly after he arrived in Washington. By the time he resigned, stories were rife about the fear with which he was treated by subordinates, who often accused him in private of meeting their suggestions with scorn.

The uproar over the 1990 budget deal, in which Mr. Sununu was seen by many Republican lawmakers as a malevolent influence, exacerbated Mr. Sununu's troubles. In the same fashion, he was badly wounded by disclosures of his extensive use of military aircraft for personal and political trips.

More recently, Mr. Sununu was blamed for the lack of direction in Mr. Bush's domestic policy staff, which was unable for months to present the President with a consensus about what he should do to spur the economy.

Then Mr. Sununu committed what many in Washington considered the unpardonable sin: he made his boss look foolish by saying that Mr. Bush had "ad-libbed" a remark about lowering credit card interest rates, when in fact the comments had been written into the President's speech.

Forget the substance of the bad stuff--they always get angry that the bad stuff comes to light, and attack the source of it.

Every now and then he crawls out from under his rock and makes comments. And once he starts talking he doesn't stop until he winds down completely. I heard him today and he just continues to talk and talk and talk....over the show host, over other guests, whoever he has to talk over to get his points across. And he relies 100 % on his talking points. Plus, he is nasty with his delivery, too. He's hard to take, so it's best to have a mute button handy when he comes on the TV.

Weak argument.

One only goes to such a weak and flawed argument when there is no strong rationale to support one's original argument.

Oh, the irony. People reject the claim that Mitt (repping the GOP) slurs folks as seeing themselves as victims... and one of his spokesmen... plays the victim card
