I mean, come on. The delusion, it burns. Of course, for the most rabid of his supporters they can never admit that they made a mistake in devoutly worshipping the wanker in chief and so even as they lay potentially dying from a deadly pandemic that their 'god' told them not to worry about, as they drown in their own lungs, as they get hooked up to ventilators... even then they cannot admit to themselves how badly they have been deceived - reject the evidence of you eyes and ears, indeed. I just wish that the fuckers in charge understood that 1984 (and the Handmaids Tale) are supposed to be fiction not instruction manuals.

These cretins take it right to the end, don't they? Distrust has been ingrained so deeply in their souls that, unless fearless leader says it is so, they do not believe it. And the brainlessly adhere to fearless leader's "reality of the moment" even if it directly contradicts fearless leader's reality of a moment ago.
