(903 posts)And, are they really enforcing it? My grocery store has a sign telling people to wear masks, but it's obviously not enforced.
I have an Ace near me. I get in the habit of going to Home Despot just because it's convenient. But I'll definitely switch to Ace if I can count on masks.

(1,167 posts)I live in a town where the mayor has mandated masks. Despite this, when I had to go to my local Ace today, half the employees weren't wearing masks or were wearing them incorrectly (e.g., pulled down so that the mask wasn't covering their nose) and the only other customer I saw wasn't wearing one at all. I won't be going back for a while.
I am so very, very discouraged by the stupidity in Arizona.

But, they don't refuse service to those who don't mask up.

(113,474 posts)Customers not required to. The staffer did offer to shop for me. I told them I was not happy with the owner's decision.

(9,128 posts)We also lost our car wash and our Albertsons around the same time. Very fishy. The workers at Ace were being given jobs in other Ace stores. Some at Albertsons (union store) went to nearby Vons.
I much prefer going to Ace over H D.
