Mittens speaks: "Unprecedented, historic corruption"

Mitt Romney @MittRomney

Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president.

Well, thanks for that. Can you see if your GOP colleagues are awake yet this morning?

So I will give him a bit of benefit of the doubt. He isn't the reason Trump is not removed.

Which is so sadly much more than any other Republican can do.

Can't wait to hear from Susan Collins.

You raise a problem and offer no solution. Yuck. Hate that.

Maybe it’s deeper than just the president, Romney. Maybe it’s your party.

not a peep up and down the line.
Spineless, gutless bastards.

Trump can't gut the country by himself - he needs well placed gutless minions. Did i mention the Courts.

Not impressed. The Republicans made this Faustian bargain so they could load up the judiciary with activist right-wingers and cut taxes for the rich. Romney needs to go much further than he has. So do many other Republicans in office right now. But they are unable to truly put country over party.

He figures that Trump loses, and the GOP will go on a binge of "Woe is me, how can I ever recover from this horrible time?"

He plans on riding in on a white horse in 2024 to be their salvation, the only pure and noble person in the GOP to have seen the light before it all went to shit.

Still not going to work with the fundies, they will never elect a Mormon president.
