(63,221 posts)I have an account, which I never use, but I am at the point where i am no longer concerned with pissing off people who disagree with me about Trump and want to make these videos go viral.
However, I am not very Facebook/Twitter/technologically savvy and am unsure as to how to post these videos over there? Can anyone post simple directions? Thanks in advance.

(26,355 posts)Reminds me of when I was taking a poli-sci class with a professor that has a reputation for NPR commentary and spending decades observing the wildlife at the state Capitol.
He had us watch Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story - that is where I learned that as reprehensible as he was, Lee Atwater was a genius.
Steve Schmidt, Rick Wilson, George Conway, et al. are today's Boogie Men. I have to say it again. Thank your lucky stars they're aiming their talents at a deserving target. And we need to be watching them closely, taking notes and learning how they operate. They are the Sith Lords of political campaigning. And we need our own Boogie Men.

(3,635 posts)James Carville was talking about this the other day, how our side could learn alot from the Never-Trumpers, in that they fight tough and don't stop pounding.
We've only won when we had the likes of Carville/Begala and Plouffe/Axelrod on our side - ie smart/tough operatives who were willing to fight with brass-knuckles.
Contrast that to the times we lost .. in 2016 for example Hillary's team (Robbie Mook, John Podesta, etc) sucked, they were overly soft and out of touch.

(30,761 posts)Mike Madigan and Rahm Emmanuel. They are ruthless. We need ruthless. We need ten more of them in each state. We need SOBs, not Pollyannas.
Don't like some of the things they have done? Want to nitpick? Then prepare for four more years (at least) of trump.

17. Before its assets were sold to Dominion, Diebold was the second largest voting machine vendor in the U.S. (The largest was ES&S discussed later in this article.) https://www.wired.com/2009/09/diebold-sells/
18. In 2004, Diebold was estimated to control about 50% of the electronic voting market. http://money.cnn.com/2004/08/30/technology/election_diebold/

19. Diebold entered the voting machine business with its 2002 acquisition of Global Election Systems, a company whose Senior VP (programmer Jeffrey Dean) was a CONVICTED FELON who had served time for sophisticated crimes involving COMPUTER TAMPERING.
https://www.wired.com/2003/12/con-job-at-diebold-subsidiary/ [According to a public court document released before GES hired him, Dean served time in a Washington state correctional facility for stealing money and tampering with computer files in a scheme that involved a high degree of sophistication and planning.];
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2005/feb/02/houseofcommons.society [Stephenson also discovered that Jeffrey Dean, the senior programmer of the Diebold Gems central tabulator system counting a third of the votes in the Bush-Kerry election in 37 states, has a police record. He pleaded guilty to 23 counts of embezzlement involving sophisticated manipulation of computer accounting records.]

20. Global brought on Dean shortly before the 2000 election. A few months later, it hired a convicted drug trafficker who Dean met in prison to oversee punch card printing. https://people.csail.mit.edu/rivest/voting/press/2004-04%20Vanity%20Fair%20-%20Hack%20The%20Vote.pdf

(2,227 posts)They have pretty much taken care of electronic voting, now they are working on mail-in ballots. Which is why I continue to warn about Louis DeJoy, the turd's new "fixer" postmaster general of the USPS...
You thing they can't "fix" it? They can.
"A West Virginia postal carrier pled guilty to mail and election fraud after admitting he changed the political affiliation on multiple voter ballots from Democrat to Republican."
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/07/10/west-virginia-mail-carrier-guilty-election-fraud-altered-ballot-requests/5412010002/
After he was caught, he said it was a "joke".
All it would take is one trumphumper USPS employee in each post office to do enough damage to invalidate the election. There is at least one in every post office, and they would do it in a heartbeat if they thought they could get away with it.
We HAVE to take these threats seriously.
I think rewards, BIG rewards, for reporting this shit could take care of this. With a guaranteed jail sentence to anyone convicted for trying to subvert a democratic election.

(7,656 posts)Politicians don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth. Lawsuits have had some success recently, eg Georgia - check out coalitionforgoodgovernance.org. Citizens have to pay to sue elections officials who have access to vast legal resources.
The problems associated with Vote By Mail (which is the best we have for 2020 at this point) are discussed here:
https://www.gregpalast.com/rush-to-vote-by-mail-could-cost-dems-the-election/
Palast mentions some common errors voters make with VBM -- we can save a lot of votes if people are informed of these and avoid them.
I doubt postal workers are going to be conspirators in election fraud.

(10,839 posts)Which is what we need to do because there is an outrage du jour, so many outrages you tend to forget from one week, one month to the next. The Lincoln Project is archiving the lawlessness, the corruption and lies as they happen.
Joe Biden plays it from the heart. The Lincoln Project goes for the jugular. We need both to win in November.
Never forget, never forgive.

Unlike a typical ad, building the case, this is the detective / true crime approach. Pull the audience in then Pow: Felon, Felon, Felon, Felon, Felon ... Worse than Nixon.
Brutally effective. Then comes the relief of seeing Biden at the end.
Wonderful.

(557 posts)Putin gave Trump could have been a device for some kind to communicate secrets and channels. It just jumped out at me in the clip of him and his master Putin. Loved the ad and wish they would nail every republicans to Putin as Trump. bring in the bounty on our troops, the 19 women including Stormy and Karen and the editor who still has the dress.I am sure they have it down pact. I just want them to stay on the connections with the Repuks, Barr, the cronies and list all their crimes. I do not care if it takes 30 minute ad-I just want people to remember.Trump crimes has a paper trail. Good job to the brilliant talents and so glad they are on our side. Come on Bloomberg. Do what you did in 2018 to bring in the blue wave. Open up polling places or have an electronic people to keep an eye on the ones who goes to the polls or better yet, open up a post office just for the election season to make sure nothing is pulled with the fraud of the right nuts.

(1,562 posts)Here in the Lehigh Valley of PA, I see Trump ads all the time. Maybe ten to one Trump ads to Biden ads (and only that one Biden ad). I see Trump ads on the Weather Channel, all the Philly channels, and WFMZ in the Valley. Our side needs to start TV advertising in eastern PA.
