(26,045 posts)I'm just glad that my wife and I are both officially "retired" from day-jobs. That way, we can order curbside take-out when we want and do the same for grocery shopping. I can't imaging what our lives would be like if we both had to put in eight hours or more each day "on-site."

We'd been running necessary errands and needed to get lunch and this was convenient plus one of our favorite places for lunch
I'd hoped to go out for my birthday later this week, but probably not. We usually go to Ted's Montana Grill but it is not a very roomy place and is always packed. I suspect that they will remove the tables in the middle and only seat people in the booths along the side, but...
I'll probably send my husband for take out - it's not only my birthday, it will be our forty third anniversary, so we both need some sort of celebration.

(10,839 posts)No way am I sitting in an in-door restaurant at this point. I had imagined that by summer we could have an outside patio dinner. But I'm not eager to start even that.
My social life consists of a few pickup meals and grocery shopping every two weeks.
Wheeeeee! Summertime is so much fun.

(1,671 posts)Changes for mall-goers include masks being required, signs on the floor directing foot traffic and hand sanitizing stations everywhere. The touch screen directories are turned off, and no one can sit and eat at the food court. The famous carousel also is not open.

I was happy to see they are surviving through all this shit.
