We are in for a very rough six months, folks.

Donald Trump has to know that he is going down in flames on election day. He can't even fill a small venue with his brain-dead loyalists anymore- (see Portsmouth, NH rally cancellation).

He doesn't give damn about anyone or anything because of this, and he will spread wholesale carnage from now until inauguration day in January. In his twisted mind he has absolutely nothing to lose, so why not destroy as many thing as possible along the way.

The Roger Stone commutation is just the latest example, it is a totally in-your-face move and he doesn't even try to disguise it anymore. I fear that Dr. Fauci is next to go on the chopping block.

We are truly leaderless in a time of an unprecedented health crisis, and what he is doing is going to get much worse before he is done swinging his wrecking ball.

for Republicans to do what they should have done last year? IMO it won't save the party from losing control, but it could limit some of the damage to the country. And they won't be blamed because they potentially have a Democratic cover of starting the process. At this point, Trump is useless to them in virtually every way, so why not throw him overboard.

If there ever was a time to use the 25th amendment and remove him from power, that time is now. Trump's plan to reopen schools would be an absolute clusterfuck of epic proportions and be a perfect storm for the virus. He must be removed now. Tomorrow may be too late.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it hard to imagine Trump as a grandpa? Probably because he's such a poor-appearing father to his youngest who's still at home. Why would he even consider the problems involving sending the normal citizens' kids back to school during a pandemic? It wouldn't cause HIM (the only one to be considered) any inconvenience.

He was impeached once and he is still in office. He would never be removed. It's too close to election day, anyway.

Better to have our party leaders spend the time and effort hammering him relentlessly before live cameras until election day. Follow the lead of the LincolnProject - they're getting the job done every day.

He has said he will act unilaterally to quell opposition with federal troops at the local level if he thinks local law enforcement is not tough enough.

And here is the example of what he means to do.

Take action unilaterally, without permission of governors, without notice to United States senators.

He just does it.

A casualty in Portland today.

I don't think he wants full out civil war. More like some skirmishes, enough to give him an excuse to go the national emergency route in order to use the military to consolidate power and control.

Will they go along with it? Some of the rank and file will. Look at what happened in Portland. But also look at how the military brass reacted to his photo op stunt with the Bible in front of the church, when he had people gassed out of his path.

I expect the higher ranking military officers would oppose him, especially with the word out now about letting Putin put bounties on the lives of our military. Higher ranking officers look at the larger picture and what it means. Lower level officers and the rank and file are more likely to get caught up in partisanship and hatred of the people they are ordered to fire on.

But trump also has support from RW militias. Many people think they are just a bunch of overweight old guys who can't shoot straight. Not true, though. Many of the militia members are young ex military who are well trained. And they are very well armed.

I think he would prefer to use National Guard over militias because he can control the Guard through their chain of command, especially ones from red states. But if he feels really threatened, he would call on the militias, too.

37. My new conspiracy theory....
Mon Jul 13, 2020, 12:58 AM
Jul 2020

My new conspiracy theory... (some already pretty much documented, some tin foil hat theory)

He was bought and paid for decades ago, when he got his first big loan from Putin's mob backed financial oligarchs. Putin KNEW he had him, lock, stock and barrel, because American banks had already washed their hands of the entire turd klan. Putin then proceeded to get the kompromat on the turd (can we say pee tape?), and at the right time, whispered the suggestion/order to run for president.

I now suggest that the turd's sole purpose is, through elections won, or through a successful coup where our military does what he orders, to turn the USofA into a satellite state of Russia, the USofR.

If he is allowed to continue, he, and we, WILL be taking our orders from Putin. By default, we would be a satellite Russian state.

I DON'T think he will be successful, but I think that if he IS successful, he thinks that as "ruler" of the new USofR he would then, through following Putin's road map for power and riches, become just as rich and just as powerful as the Russian oligarchs, or even Putin himself.

His OTHER option, if this all fails, is to flee the country in his private jet, having milked/bilked the American tax payers of hundreds of millions of dollars. If he fails, Putin will be done with him, so the turd and his entire klan will go to Saudi Arabia. They have no extradition treaty, and the turd has already gone to bat for the murdering, dismembering Saudi prince. They owe the turd.

Or we can just arrest his ass for money laundering, put him and his entire klan in jail, take every penny of their assets, and have THE BIGGEST CELEBRATION EVER!!!
