The failure of Wests last-minute petition drive means he will almost certainly not be able to mount a quixotic third-party campaign in the Palmetto State after recently getting on the ballot in Oklahoma, where a $35,000 filing fee is the only requirement.
By the time the deadline passed at noon, neither West nor any representative from his makeshift campaign had arrived to deliver the petition to the S.C. Election Commission, according to commission spokesman Chris Whitmire. No late registration will be allowed.

(32,733 posts)somehow. He needs medication AND psychotherapy.
I can't believe he thought he'd get the signatures needed in SC, especially after disrespecting Harriet Tubman that way. SMH!
I feel bad for Kim K. She has 4 young kids with this guy.

(4,103 posts)He just coincidentally happens to have these scripted episodes that were planned weeks in advance .... every time he needs to promote something ... they'e so spontaneous. And he just happens to announce new over priced made in China ѕhit he's selling on his website that just magically materialized on his website over night and is in stock ready to ship out.
He's a con man who makes money entertaining idiots, he puts on these crazy week episodes because he knows the media will give him free advertising when he's looking to sell something

No one likes to hear they are "crazy" unless they take certain chemicals. Plus the decades long demonization with anyone with a mental illness...which is actually a physical one that affects the brain, hasn't helped much.

(4,484 posts)the stigma is very real.
It shouldn't be. I take medicine and am fine, but I worry about people ever knowing because of what they'd think.

(6,401 posts)It took jail to finally get her to realize she has a serious problem. The three mental hospitalizations prior, didn't work. Now she freaks out if she was a bit late taking her meds.
And yes, the stigma is very real. Company I work at has a Mental Health month...after a couple of years, the leadership was shocked to find out that many employee's with mental illness refused to partake of the services offered. They seriously renewed the efforts and stated there never should be a stigma(more or less saying they will fire your ass if you knock another employee or anyone in their family for a mental illness).. at least they are trying.
