(2,774 posts)They are conservatives, so is Romney. They all support the party plank.

(10,716 posts)And we need to be giving $$ to C. Murphy, Tester, Warren, Berkley, Carmona, Baldwin, Donnelley, and Kaine, not to mention those dems running tight races in the House/governorships.

(297,211 posts)'cause I wanted to read about it.. and a delicious snip..
Reid, the Senate majority leader, told reporters that Republicans, including Heller, were running from Romney "as if the Olympics were still on."Reid said he recalled that the Nevadan once likened jobless people to hobos in a speech questioning long extensions of unemployment insurance.
"Dean's got to be very careful," Reid said. "He recognized how toxic Romney's comments are but that's interesting coming from somebody who just a short time ago compared unemployed people to hobos. That was his word: hobos."

(10,716 posts)New senate polls show the Dems pulling ahead--Kaine had been tied with Macaca Allen for quite some time. Latest poll show VA in the Dem's corner. Chris Murphy had been tied with McMahon, and now he's ahead. Nice!
Heitcamp was behind Berg in early July by 8 points. There hasn't been a poll since?! Chances are, Heidi H. has gained ground, and once it appears closer, I will donate to that cause as well.
It's an exciting time for Dems, thanks to GOP fumbles. I can't wait for the rest of that video to come out on Mitt's fund raiser. It may have raised him some money, but it's raised more eyebrows.

(25,415 posts)'I am not a rubber stamp for the national party and I am not responsible for the statements of Mitt Romney,' Lingle said in an email. 'With that said, I do not agree with his characterization of all individuals who are receiving government assistance, as I know many of them are driven, hard-working individuals who are actively working to better the situation of their ohana. It is not fair to place these individuals into any one category. The people of Hawaii know I dont believe in labels and I know they dont either.'

(10,716 posts)she's not in a tight race. HI is locked up. I'm hoping to encourage $$$ sent to candidates in close races. If the House becomes vulnerable, we'll see congressional candidates follow in the Senate footsteps.
The GOP Senate candidates are starting to march to their own drummer. If Mitt can't lead them, how can he lead the percentage of the country that he thinks is on his team?
It's fascinating to watch, don't you think?

(25,415 posts)Running scared. These are all candidates running in more moderate areas and can't walk the Repub tea partyish line.

(10,716 posts)Several PACS are trying to get them OUT over at ACTBLUE.com, to include organizations like Votevets.org. Tammy Duckworth v. Joe Walsh is one of those races. Walsh is a scumbag, and I hope to see his ratty ass jumping ship soon. Allen West is another. Pure scum.
But it's starting with the Senate, the GOP's cherished wish to possess. Too bad, so sad.

(297,211 posts)if she got in..she'd be freaking jumping to line up with those FREAKING IDIOTS. Ask her who she's going to vote for?
I agree, they act like moderates but really rarely are true moderates.
