Putin wants to weaken the US and have us at each other's throats. At the same time, he wants to turn us into a country like his own, with the uber wealthy vacuuming up all the resources (Trump and the .00001%ers). And he wants Trump to stay in power so we don't threaten Putin's aims to reconnect the USSR.

Trump is Putin’s puppet and Putin has no use for Trump if he loses so that makes Trump desperate. This is all being set up to wreak havoc for November. It’s one step at a time rather than a full blown assault all at once.

Yes, I think it’s THAT serious. I’ll be quite happy to be wrong, but seeing what I’m seeing happening right now in this country makes me believe I’m not wrong. Trump has pushed the envelope way over the line for what former Presidents have been allowed. I kept thinking for a long time that someone, somewhere, in power would stop him. That hasn’t materialized.

I think he just wants us to become a weak, failed state that can never threaten the Empire he wants to build.
There are very few American businessmen, religious leaders, politicians, or technocrats that he seems to have any sort of actual friendship with. At most, they're useful tools, but in every single interaction I've seen him with Americans, it's obvious by the way he acts around them that he neither cares or really respects them.
Even the sundowning poodle he installed in our government to do his bidding is nothing more than a tool.

There is no end game, it's (in my extremely humble opinion) just to show his base how tough he is and literally nothing more - pure theater.
