How much more do the "contractors" make than federal officers?

Who is taking taxpayer money? I think I once read that the mercenary groups like Blackwater
make many times more than regulars, whether army, like in Iraq, or federals like Border Patrol or marshalls
or whoever these guys are.

But I know a guy who was with a contractor in Iraq. He spent a most of a year in Baghdad and made 170k. I know Blackwater guys made a lot more, something like $750-850 per day according to what some of them claimed.

Back around 05 I think I made around 1500/month while deployed lol. I don't know if I still have any of my LES's any more to check.

Temporary etc

I worked PRN as a nurse and got about 25% more/hour than staff

I really don't think they're paying these goons like they did in Iraq.
