Trump's Response to Protests May Cost Him Election

Trump’s Response to Protests May Cost Him Election

"SNIP......

New battleground polling provided to Vanity Fair suggests that the Black Lives Matter protests themselves “changed America’s opinions about race so quickly, and so profoundly, that Trump unknowingly planted himself even further on the wrong side of public opinion than previously understood.”

“Avalanche found resounding support for the protests not just among Biden supporters, but among persuadable voters and even soft Trump supporters. The hardcore Vote Trump polling-trumps-protest-response-could-cost-him-2020 were against the protests, with 56% opposing them. But among the softer Lean Trump set, an eye-opening 59% said the protesters were ‘completely right’ or ‘somewhat right’—probably not what the president had in mind when he commandeered Lafayette Square. And 72% of Americans with Mixed Feelings about the presidential race—precious undecided voters—said the protesters were right too.”

“But just as remarkable were the shifts among those persuadables in the 10 days between June 1 and June 11, a window that opened with burning cities and Trump’s march to St. John’s Church, but concluded with mostly peaceful demonstrations nationwide. During that period Avalanche found that support for the protests grew 10 points among Mixed Feelings voters, 14 points among Lean Biden voters, and a head-spinning 25 points among Lean Trump voters.”

Said pollster Michiah Prull: “I had never in my research career seen public opinion shift on the scale in this time frame.”

It's what they are known for around the World.

Trump has given a voice to the assholes and they are vocal.

She called the small minority of Trump radicals deplorables. And by catering to the worst element of his base, now the remaining sane Republicans are abandoning ship.

Little was made of it, but it may be the last straw for the RNC and Trump. When it was announced “Trump cancels the convention” it must have made their blood boil to realize Trump is seizing control and bankrupting them the same way he bankrupts everything.

Not even Republicans want to be associated with the deplorables anymore, they are so unlike Republicans who dream of living in the Hamptons.

Everyone was watching the press conferences and they were bad.

June 1 - that was really really bad. I still don’t know what Fox News showed but it doesn’t matter. Everyone else had it live and it was like something out of a movie. The end with the family walk up and the Bible was really bad.

Everything else he’s getting killed

Race relations.
Pandemic
Health care.

But people still see him as better at handling an economy which makes NO FUCKING SENSE. he is an imbecile and EVERY REPUBLICAN EVER always fucks up the economy but still polling shows it as the one area where he holds an advantage.

People are dumb.

When the same poll was conducted last month, Trump had a 4-point lead over his Democratic challenger, down by half from his 8-point lead on the economy in April.

There are 10s of millions of voters that have bought the big lie that Rs are best for the economy.
They're best for very big business, but not for the economy overall.
But, some voters have been hearing it so long, they accept it as fact.
So, PINO has an R after his name, he must be better for the economy.
Unfortunate, but I'm quite certain it's true.
In fact, a 4% deficit is probably superb for Biden. I think Rs generally poll better than this on this issue.

Plus a still sizeable portion of the electorate think he’s a multi billionaire who is a great businessman.

Which of course neither thing is true.

But they think he was responsible for Obamas economy and they would trust him to fix the economy

When all he’s done is fuck everything up all his life.

It boggles my mind.

But luckily the pandemic and BLM movement put him in such a hole that he will lose historically.

If we are allowed to vote.

and really, all I could think of when Trump held up the Bible?

Stormy Daniels, for some unknown reason. He just looked like such a slick con man holding the Bible. It was an "ah-ha!" moment.

Eureka! I think we've found the secret sauce.

What do we think would happen IF it turns out that George Floyd was executed (intentionally murdered) due to his involvement with/connections to the officer's counterfeit money business?

The reason that I read that George Floyd ended up in police custody was that he had tried to pass a counterfeit bill at a merchant. And also remember that the two men worked together in a night club as bouncers/security or something like that.

Now we see that the cop and his ex=widfe have tax issues:
Fired Minneapolis police officer Chauvin and estranged wife face 9 felony tax charges

My spidey sense tells me they are all connected.
