repuke hypocrisy has been SOP for a LONG time

I remember my dad in about 1950 listening to the radio and hanging on every word of Gabriel Heater. The message is fear. Back then is was more irrational fear that the government was going to take everything away from you. When that didn't happen the massage had to change and along came the Civil Rights movement and so the new fear was of black people and that expanded to include immigrants. The message will change but someone or something will become the new thing to fear and Republicans are good at messaging irrational fear. That won't change. Most likely, they will bring back big government to fear without realizing that big government is the very thing that is currently destroying America in leaps and bounds.

I clearly remember during the Obama years that from time to time militia morons would gather wearing camouflage outfits, dark sunglasses and carrying AR15's and proclaiming how they were there to give Obama a message. That message being: Don't do anything unconstitutional or try to limit 'Murican freedoms or they would take him out! (Even though he never, ever gave a hint of wanting to do that.)
But now we are in the era of Trump and he is the most corrupt President ever and has sent goon squads to Portland to beat up peaceful protesters. So where are all those tough-talking, freedom-loving militia types when we need them? Gee, they are nowhere to be found! Surprise, surprise! I suspect that 98% support Trump's actions and the other 2% are a bit concerned but since Trump isn't Black they don't really care. It all comes down to racism. They don't really give a shit about the Constitution. All they cared about was that a Black man was in the White House and it really pissed them off. They are nothing but racists, liars and hypocrites.
