Complete, I believe, with real-life boogaloo white supremacists inciting and perpetrating destructive and violent acts for the cameras.

trotted out by the far right (average trumpista) in an attempt to scare people into supporting authoritarianism. I don't see it working, except on those that are already authoritarian or lean authoritarian. George Soros is another boogeyman that gets trotted out regularly. Anyone with two brain cells knows what this is - made up crap. And, if you are not Antifa, you are pro-fascist. I am definitely Antifa. Fascists can suck an egg.

That's convenient. So if you can't be linked strongly to an actual terrorist organization, you can still be guilty of a thought crime.

It's the "Scottish Inspired" fallacy, similar to "No True Scotsman":

Person A: "Those people must have been stabbed to death by a Scotsman."
Person B: "No, the guy that stabbed those people was not a Scotsman."
Person A: "Then he was Scottish inspired."

Person B: "No, that guy over there is not a Scotsman."

Silly word games.

People never come out and say they're bad because they typically don't believe they are.

Hitler no more reveled in his evil than Stalin did. Both claimed the side of right and the good, and they were working for das Volk or za narod.

Hitler was fascist.

Stalin, of course, was anti-fascist.

If the label "anti-fascist" is big enough to silently include Stalin and his security apparatus as BFFs, that makes it a pretty useless label.

They're task was to kill or capture as many fascists as possible as quickly as possible.
That they did the job so well is why they are called the Greatest Generation.
