It would be an interesting academic thought exercise to play out what happens if/when someone rightly fights back to the extrajudicial kidnapping and is armed to the teeth like a good second amendment fellating citizen republicans claim we should be.

i noted the van's license plate was captured in the video - wonder if that has been traced back to the registered owner yet?

At a time when unidentified federal jackboots have been plucking people off the streets in Portland, or at any time really, choosing to arrest a woman at a protest by having a gaggle of male cops in plainclothes swarm her and pack her into an unmarked minivan is not the way.

Until the bike cops showed up, it really wasn't clear that it was police making an arrest, and until later reporting filled in some of the details, there was no way to know she had an outstanding warrant.

Bad form. Really, really bad.
