Trump's Makes Another Play for Suburban Voters

President Trump on Twitter:

“I am happy to inform all of the people living their Suburban Lifestyle Dream that you will no longer be bothered or financially hurt by having low income housing built in your neighborhood… Your housing prices will go up based on the market, and crime will go down. I have rescinded the Obama-Biden AFFH Rule. Enjoy!”

I recall a time where "living in the Projects " was considered a vulgar phrase.

No thank you.

This is an FU to anyone who does not have the downpayment and income to live in suburbia

Trump is telling millions of young voters that not only do they not deserve to buy a home, but that they are undesirables who spread criminal activity.

crew and Dems and the American moms to put this man in his place and keep this and the bounty/cov19 in the news.He is a KKK and needs to be addressed as such. He is not presidential material, but belong with the KKK and needs to resign today.Nancy should impeach him just for what he is trying to do to mess with the voting as well as post office and get out front of what the REpuks are doing. They need to learn how to go harder which is why I want Gov Cuomo on the ticket with Joe.I feel if we want a sure win, this is the ticket. Put the women all over his cabnet and courts, but I am not feeling good about he has to have any woman. I know 100% with this ticket,we will win for sure. I think Joe would dive on this too. Sometimes to Democrat party step on their own toes. I love all the women, but I do not see America supporting them. One they are not ready for any woman and two the raciest would go off over any black person .I can see this a mile away. I look at 150 dead and who do you think most of these are? black and brown. If we have the Governor on Biden ticket, the platform is already there and Joe and the Governor can do these live task forces acting like they are already in office. I think they made a big mistake for putting Joe in a box like this.I am very uneasy and do not see how this can work.I know about the two white men on the ticket,;but I will deal with that than losing to Trump by taking this chance. We do not have time for no mistakes.I feel this will be the biggest one yet. Hell'they may as well gave it to Bernie and Nina because it is going down the drain. The power and money is behind Trump-the polls has tightened and he is as raciest as ever. I am sorry, but the women is not tough enough or will be seen as socialist.I know we will win with Coumo on the ticket.JMHO.

My suburban community is building expensive high-density 3-level (not story) apartments, not $200K condominiums or $500K McMansion single-families, on what seems to be every square inch of available green space not yet claimed by Amazon warehouses , Google data centers, and high-end retirement/assisted living with tax abatements, but I'm on the wrong side of most the numerous round-abouts in a competitive rental apartment - used to be "the tracks." There's a price to pay for not buying a new refrigerator or furnace, roof, or sealing a wet basement!

over a local Affordable Housing. I did not I know it was an Obama area rule.

A very large apartment complex has gone up near me. My main issue was traffic. A traffic study was not done before the unit was built. It's on a busy road that already has traffic problems.

The former city councilman pushed the project through.

There were also plans to build affordable housing in a flood plain. Yes a flood plain. This area is basically a creek bed. Fortunately the project was scrapped.

The companies who build the housing are shady. They are private ventures who get the money upfront for construction and then abandon the units, leaving them in disrepair. I think my local Democratic insider was mostly mad about the contracts and companies involved. Of course only a shady company would want to build housing in a creek bed.

I think I will ask her more about this. She's been involved with local issues for years. She could tell me if the units are part of an Obama era rule. She had always blamed our former councilman because she worked in his office. She is a staunch Democrat.
