Ruth Bader Ginsburg resting comfortably in New York City hospital after non-surgical procedure

(CNN)Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is resting comfortably in a New York City hospital after undergoing a medical procedure to replace a bile duct stent that was originally placed last year, according to the court.

"Justice Ginsburg underwent a minimally invasive non-surgical procedure today at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City to revise a bile duct stent that was originally placed at Sloan Kettering in August 2019," a statement from the court read Wednesday evening.
"According to her doctors, stent revisions are common occurrences and the procedure, performed using endoscopy and medical imaging guidance, was done to minimize the risk of future infection. The Justice is resting comfortably and expects to be released from the hospital by the end of the week."
The hospital trip -- her second this month -- comes a little less than two weeks after the 87-year-old justice announced her cancer had returned.

Even though planned and non-surgical, any visit to the hospital by RBG makes me nervous. She's expecting to be released at end of the week.

The only thing we have control over is getting out the vote, and encouraging people to vote early and by mail where possible

It is no secret that republican governors are eliminating polling places in Democratic districts, which was against part of the voting rights act until The SC ruled it wasn’t needed

Regardless, if we can win the WH and both houses of Congress, the first things we must do is get rid of the filibuster in the Senate, and make Washington DC a state
