They did usually have the dialogue in English when people were speaking Spanish when I watched. Sometimes it was at the very top of the screen and sometimes at the very bottom. Is your screen large enough, like are you watching on a dev ice other than a TV?
I just finished watching it and still trying to recover. I am just stunned and sickened.

I am watching on a 40 inch TV screen.

I have 4 options:

Normal=black strip on top and bottom

Zoom=full screen

Wide=black strip on top and bottom

Cinema=full screen

There are no captions with any choice.

Edit I just put it on (using netflix app on windows 10) and there's captions, no need to turn anything on. They're at the bottom. If the image seems like it might be getting cut off, look for button w/zoom or a rectangle (like a tv) and try pushing it a few times, see if captions pop on. There's some captions around the 20:00 mark in episode 1 for example.

On my Apple TV, there’s a pull down menu at the top of the screen that allows me to adjust language and subtitles- you should have a settings option for the app regardless of device.

I don't have a Netflix app.

I am watching on a Fire TV Stick.

Out of the thousands of hours I have watched TV, this is the first time this issue has come up.

Episode 6 just ended.
