Know any charity that accepts children's items like strollers?

I want to donate some of my daughter’s items that don’t fit her any more...a stroller, car seats, travel crib, etc. Goodwill, Salvation Army and some others I’ve tried wont take them. Any idea who I should call? Thanks.

which is why most charities won't take them. Strollers, cribs etc...maybe a charity that serves teenage mothers? Or maybe a women's shelter? I know we all hate Facebook but their local marketplace is effective at moving used items. My SIL has sold all kinds of kids items from gear to clothing and made a little money from it too.

Chances are your town has a group, and you'll likely find some takers there. Otherwise, perhaps a yard sale might find them homes.

If you can locate a listing for a women’s shelter, that would be great. When a woman flees with her children, the phrase “with just the clothes on her back” comes to mind.

Call the office in your town that oversees that type of program.

Great service for families who take in foster children....

From the web site:

Generous organizations and people create Foster Care Closets for foster parents. They consist of donated items meant to offset the costs of new clothing and other necessary belongings for children in care. Many of them offer used clothing, toys, furniture and baby accessories. Please note: the Foster Coalition does not run foster care closets. We have created this list as a service to the foster care community. [Page in progress. Last updated July 23, 2020]
