Of something or other, not an indictment, perhaps a subpoena, or the announcement that Mazar’s has finally complied with the old subpoena.

Material from Subpoenas have to be kept inviolate within the investigating unit.

If there were witnesses that they share like Cohen they could cooperate with depositions.

After there are public indictments they can freely meet for joint strategies especially on plea bargaining.

If they were doing a truly joint operation there would be a joint announcement.
