https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/05/former-clients-of-acting-homeland-security-chief-chad-wolf-get-millions-in-dhs-contracts.htmlSeveral former lobbying clients of Chad Wolf, now the acting secretary of Homeland Security, have received millions of dollars worth of government contracts while he has held senior positions within the department.
Wolf, who became the acting chief of the department late last year, was a lobbyist for over a decade at Wexler & Walker before he took leadership roles with DHS under President Donald Trump. Wolf served as the acting chief of staff at the Transportation Security Administration in 2017 and later became the chief of staff for former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.
Since then, several of Wolfs former clients reaped a total of at least $160 million in contracts from DHS, according to a CNBC analysis of the public filings.
A DHS spokesman told CNBC that Wolf has no involvement with any government contracts.

still his agency though, he is still their boss, and in certain instances he can award contracts without a competitive bid process.

"Acting" appointments are supposed to last for no more than 210 days. "Acting" Secretary Wolf is well past that date. I wonder why President Law-n-Order is breaking the law?
Oh, and thanks again, Senate Republicans for allowing this tragedy to go on and on. Thousands upon thousands of people are dying because of your recklessness.
