I feel a little sorry for him. He probably didn't realize the statue was a plaster cast, not marble.

I'm with you. They can work conservation magic on it and then maybe rope it off.

It wasn't roped off and he was posing with the statue of the pretty reclining nude lady.

Looked like a joke pic to me and probably one that's done by many male tourists. This guy just bumped the lady's toes.
