beaches packed with 20 something mobs and other crowding type behaviors have driven the daily covid reports up near 200 per day for the past week. meanwhile middle age and seniors wander around wrapped up like mummies. so shutdowns of beaches and more places are coming back...

"HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - A partial inter-island quarantine will be reinstated, Oahu beaches and parks will be closed, and Honolulu police will dial up enforcement of emergency orders as part of a broad new push to rein in the island’s surge of COVID-19 cases.
The partial inter-island quarantine will go into effect Tuesday and continue through Aug. 31. It requires anyone arriving by air on any island except Oahu to quarantine for 14 days."
