He will be on stage and look serious. He always looks serious. He will kiss Trumps ass and invoke Jesus Christ as his savior and political consultant. Than he will hope that Kamala will say someting that he can say is anti-Jesus. That's his whole schtick.

They'll most likely be held electronically which will eliminate this sort of scenario.

There is NO upside for either Trump or Pence. They can only dig themselves deeper into the hole they're already in.

Joe knows exactly how to get under Trump's thin skin, and the Dotard is prone to self-inflicted wounds when he loses his temper - AND there will be no live audience to cheer his usual bullshit sputtering, or blunt the barbs that will be thrown his way.

I think Pence is actually smart enough to know that he's no match for Kamala. She'll make a fool of him on every issue, and he doesn't have the balls (or the necessary quick wit) to fight back.

I think Trump will come up with some excuse not to participate - It's not fair! The whole thing is rigged! - and Pence, of course, will follow suit.

Given Trump's even more erratic-than-usual behaviour these days, I've no doubt the GOP will heave a collective sigh of relief if the debates don't happen - less chance of their "pResident' melting down on national TV.
