(5,328 posts)I'm still getting used to this, but I succeeded in learning "Rachel Mad-OH" instead of "Rachel Mad-OW" even though many of her MSNBC colleagues say it wrong, so I'm sure I'll get used to this too.

(101,361 posts)They (including Kamala herself) are using an 'a', not an 'o' - just as you'd expect. I'd suggest it's pronounced like 'calm' in US English: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/pronunciation/english/calm
