Mitt has been running for the presidency for 7 years and yet

the explanation that they are giving for his historically light campaign schedule is debate prep. Wouldn't you think that someone on the national scene for this long would not need an exhaustive tutorial on issues. I really question his intelligence as well as his temperament.

involved where he thinks it's his.

someone else mentioned in another thread that Romney thought he had it easy. with the money. like in the primary how even when he wouldn't do great he did enough to win. anyone who would get in his way like perry, cain, gingrich, santorum etc were tossed aside with the money people and ads.

he thought the same would happen here.

and while Bush was a dumb ass and drunk, there is something else that is wrong with Romney where he comes off as unstable. McCain didn't get this way in 2008. he did stupid things like cancel some appearance on letterman because of some news. but that was more of some stupid political strategy where he thought people would see him as trying to get the job done.

maybe it has to do with how Romney was given it all. McCain experienced something horrible in his life that nobody should and it makes them view things in a different way. 2 extremes maybe.

...."experience" to have a debatable opinion on a myriad of topics, but on the opposite hand, President Obama not only knows his topics, he also has a very deft skill at expressing himself with rhetoric that threatens or even cripples an opponents' ability to express themselves with nearly the same finesse.

I am sure the thugs know that. Even I know it, and I happen to agree with the President on a myriad of topics, so I would not likely be so thrown off by his polished manner of speaking.

So yeah, the r man needs to prep his ass, er mind, as much as he can so as not to appear like a total idiot when President Obama wipes the floor with him and then tosses him to the moderators.

He had about what, twenty debates already for the nomination? Obama hasn't debated anyone in almost four years and he's had a country to run. Sounds like Mitt is getting psyched out. Or else he has medical reasons for standing down that we don't know about.

With the vigor of running a presidential campaign, it is taking its toll on them. That's why the campaign only schedules one or two rallies per week. I remember Clinton doing so many rallies that he lost his voice the last week of the campaign. He would just show up and wave at the crowd. He even made a last minute rally in McAllen, Texas the night before the election. He just waved.
Now that is something Mitt can never do.

Fatigue will set in with his new stepped up pace, that gaffes will start coming. He is not in physical or mental shape to keep up the new pace.
