I couldn't help myself...

I needed to speak to a customer service representative at one of the big box stores. A very nice woman with a southern accent answered the call. At the end of the conversation she said "is there anything else i can help you with?"

I couldn't help myself. I said: "Thank you Latisha. There is one more thing. Please vote!" She had maintained a professional tone of voice up to this point. When I asked her to please vote she became excited and replied: "I registered to vote.. well I always vote but I registered my husband to vote. Thank you. We will vote."

I added: "And get all of your friends to vote." She said: "We will. Thank you."

Take advantage of any opportunity to help Get Out The Vote!

It is easy to identify many Trump supporters by their discomfort at being in public places. They look so unhappy. Many have been unmasked of their own volition.

I have reminded all of my friends and family to vote. I have researched where their polling places are or how to vote absentee in their state.

Perhaps she's a die-hard Trumper, but somehow I'm guessing she's not. I should do this in various public interactions.

She made a point of saying she got her husband to register. A great sign of her enthusiasm.
Hopefully having some old white dude encouraging her will make her smile.
I think something in my voice might have given away how important i think it is.

that a Trumper would have already been long registered, or would actually be indifferent to voting. And dare I suggest her name, Latisha is a bit of a clue?
