PBS Frontline on Artifacts From Obama's and Romney's Lives (and what they say about character)

This is a wonderful look at the growth of the character of the two candidates, purely from a collection of artifacts from their lives. It's not wildly partisan, but that's its strength. Who knew Barack Obama wrote (kind of medium but not terrible) poetry as a youth, that Mitt Romney counter-protested the Vietnam protesters, and numerous other bits of tid from the early years?

It really is a fascinating series and I look forward to reading more as the weeks go by.

This video, taken in 1994, shows him at ease and without the stiffness we see today. Makes me think how terribly, terribly uncomfortable he is with what he's doing.

took a bunch of Cal students, shaved their heads, and painted them red.

Also interesting that one of the commentators opines that perhaps one of the reasons why Rmoney seems so wishy-washy is that he's more concerned with the end and not the means.
