I get videos of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in Messenger

I don’t know if it’s because I donate monthly but if anyone here gets these I hope you watch at least one. The format is Joe and Kamala sitting a safe distance from each other having a real conversation. It struck me that I kind of felt like I could have been there with them, listening to some very knowledgeable acquaintances, maybe even friends, talking about the issues facing all Americans.

It was actually a give and take just like it would be in a real conversation. They spoke easily and casually of the past, of their parents, of their experiences growing up. Both their families really struggled when they were kids and why they believe in the issues they’re running on. It was all done in a give and take that happens in a real conversation. It felt real, like I could have jumped in with my experiences and upbringing and ideas. I felt like they would have both listened and responded to me.

One very important thing that Joe said was that just like he was the last person in the room with President Obama he wants Kamala to do the same. President Obama started treating the Vice Presidency like a vital position during his Administration and President Biden would and will do the same. Gone are the days where the Vice President holds the class dunce position. Kamala Harris is going to be an honored participant, befitting her experience and intelligence. I love that!
