(101,347 posts)and he doesn't do that. The only time he ends up with a long sentence is if his train of thought goes off on something else in the middle of it.
Yeah, I do think those who write tweets in his name try to imitate his style, such as incorrect capitalization.

(10,836 posts)These tweets by Trump (or under Trump's name) are an attempt to deny, deflect and/or coverup the man's callousness. He does not care about the military unless he can use them as props. He does not care about the country except for what he can grift from it. He cares only for himself and avoiding accountability.
But this? Dissing the American military again and again and again. This is really bad. And even Trump's enablers know it.

I would love to be a fly on the wall at VFW's (whose members are typically Republicans) as they grapple with this.

(10,836 posts)Which is why they're denying it, insisting it's fake news. However, Trump's remarks about McCain are on video for everyone to review. As were the comments about the gold star family from 2016. If the 'sources' in this recent compilation of dissing start coming forward, the downward spiral will be unstoppable. There have been bits and pieces of these stories that have already come out. The Atlantic article confirmed the incidents.
Where is the outcry from the political party (Repugs) that has always venerated the military?
Crickets.
Instead they're going after the writer.
Could get very interesting!
