Trump's reversal on Stars and Stripes was tweeted two hours after Rachel Maddow recommended it

If the White House wants damage control on these multiple reports about the president disparaging the military, maybe today would be a good day to hit pause on his inexplicable order to kill the beloved, storied military newspaper Stars and Stripes.

But there's always a risk he'd re-reverse afterwards if she did.

I have no strong, nor well-informed, opinion on if Stars and Stripes is still useful or relevant. Just keeping in mind that Trump's DOD had decided to get rid of it makes me think maybe it should be kept -- usually Trump's people do bad things, get caught, and then he reverses it if/when the optics are bad enough. The reverse is less common, so probably getting rid of it is not a good idea.

Hopefully others will chime in with informed opinions.
